The String of Pearls: How Healing One Timeline Heals Them All
One of the most liberating understandings I have received through the Evolves, and through more than three decades of exploring multidimensional consciousness, is this: you do not have to revisit every lifetime one by one.
I know how that sounds if you’ve spent any time around past-life work that treats every lifetime as a locked room you have to enter, search, and resolve before you can move forward. That approach exists, and for some people it may be meaningful.
My experience has been different. I have come to understand timelines as an interconnected architecture rather than a collection of separate events. When we identify and heal the original thread that gave rise to a recurring pattern, the healing often ripples through the timelines connected to it.
Picture Your Timelines as a String of Pearls
One of the clearest ways I understand our timelines is to imagine them as a string of pearls.
Each pearl represents a lifetime. Each has its own experiences, relationships, joys, and challenges. At first glance, they may appear separate, but they are all connected by the same thread.
That thread is the important part.
It carries the beliefs, patterns, fears, strengths, and unresolved experiences that expand from one lifetime to another until they are understood and transformed.
You may recognize that thread in your life today. It can appear as a fear you cannot explain, a relationship pattern that keeps repeating, a feeling of grief that seems to have no beginning, or a deep knowing that there is something more to understand about yourself.
Many people believe they must revisit every lifetime to heal what has been carried forward. My experience has shown me something different.
When we discover the thread connecting the pearls, we often find that the entire strand begins to change. The transformation is not limited to one lifetime. It ripples through all the experiences connected to that pattern.
Timeline Architecture
This is the foundation of what I call Timeline Architecture. Not archaeology, which painstakingly excavates one layer at a time and treats the past as something to be unearthed and examined piece by piece. Architecture works differently. It locates the load-bearing point — the place where a pattern was first set in motion — and it works there, directly, so that the structural change ripples through everything built on top of it.
This is the work we do during private sessions and within the monthly gatherings of Cosmic Travelers.
Together, we enter what I call the Sacred White Space—a place of neutrality where we work in co-creative partnership with the Evolves. It is here that old patterns, karmic agreements, and inherited timelines can be released without needing to relive every experience that created them.
The intention is to release the past, glean from the richness it offers, and integrate into the present. And from that place, the future begins to change.
This exact idea — that healing radiates instead of accumulating — is the heart of my book, EarthBound.
You Are More Than Your Wounds
One of the greatest misunderstandings I see is the belief that we are defined by what has happened to us. We are not.
Our experiences have shaped us, taught us, and offered growth opportunities, but they are not who we are. The patterns that continue to surface in our lives are not asking us to relive the past. More often, they are inviting us to understand what is ready to be released.
You may notice these patterns through recurring dreams, familiar relationship dynamics, unexplained fears, or emotions that seem to arise without reason. Sometimes they even express themselves through the body.
This is not a sign that something is wrong. It is often a sign that something is ready to change.
As our consciousness expands, the patterns we have carried through many lifetimes naturally rise into our awareness—not to keep us trapped in the past, but to offer us the opportunity to choose differently. When we recognize the thread running through those experiences, we no longer need to carry it.
That is how we move forward—not by becoming our wounds, but by remembering who we have always been beneath them.
What This Looks Like in Practice
When someone comes to me with a recurring pattern—whether it is a fear they cannot explain, a relationship that keeps repeating itself, a body that remains on alert, or an emotion that seems older than this lifetime—we don’t begin by asking, “Which lifetime did this come from?”
We begin by listening.
Together, we look for the thread that has been woven through the pattern. Sometimes that knot is recent. Sometimes it’s ancestral, the way an heirloom is carried forward without anyone asking if you want it. Sometimes it reaches back further than either of us expected. Wherever it began is less important than understanding what is ready to be transformed.
Once that pattern is recognized, there is no need to relive every detail. Instead, we acknowledge it, understand it, and, in partnership with the Innate Wisdom of your body and your Guidance System, allow the energy surrounding it to reorganize.
As that occurs, people often notice changes extending far beyond the original concern. Relationships begin to shift. Long-standing reactions soften. Physical symptoms may lessen. Choices become clearer. It is as though the entire strand begins to respond.
This is what I mean when I say, “Heal one timeline, and the entire strand is affected.”
It is not simply a philosophy. It is something I have witnessed throughout more than three decades of this work.
What Thread Has Been Calling You?
As you reflect on your own life, I invite you to consider this question:
What thread has been quietly weaving its way through your life?
Perhaps it is a recurring fear, a relationship pattern, a feeling you cannot explain, or a deep knowing that there is something more to understand.
Whatever it is, don’t dismiss it.
The thread is not there to keep you trapped. It is there to guide you toward a deeper understanding of yourself.
When we recognize the thread, we no longer have to chase every pearl along the strand. We can begin to transform the pattern itself, allowing every experience connected to it to be viewed through a new awareness.
This is the foundation of the work I do in private sessions and the journey we continue together in Cosmic Travelers.
You were never meant to carry every pearl alone. Your lifetimes are not separate stories. They are connected by a single thread of consciousness waiting to be understood.
Sometimes all that is needed is the willingness to follow the thread.
Common Questions About This Work
One of the questions I am often asked is whether someone has to believe in past lives for this work to be meaningful.
The answer is no.
Some people understand recurring patterns through the lens of past lives. Others see them as ancestral influences, inherited beliefs, or energetic imprints. Whatever language feels right to you, the intention is the same—to recognize the pattern and understand what is ready to be released.
Another common question is whether healing requires reliving painful experiences. In my experience, it does not. There is a difference between remembering and re-experiencing.
Timeline Architecture is not about returning to every painful moment. It is about recognizing the thread that has connected those experiences and transforming the pattern it has carried forward.
When the thread changes, the entire strand responds. Healing does not require suffering. More often, it asks for awareness, understanding, and the willingness to choose differently.
Why I’m Writing About This Now
This understanding of timelines—the string of pearls, the thread that connects them, and the way healing ripples through the entire strand—is woven throughout EarthBound: The Genesis of the Great Experiment, the first book in the five-part Multidimensional Memoirs series.
It has taken more than three decades of working with clients, exploring multidimensional consciousness, and integrating my own experiences before I could fully understand what the Evolves had been teaching me.
Perhaps the greatest lesson has been this: healing is not the end of the journey. Integration is.
Awareness opens the door. Healing releases the old pattern. Integration is where we begin living from the new understanding. It is where our choices change, our relationships evolve, and our lives begin to reflect who we have become rather than who we once believed ourselves to be.
This is not about endlessly searching the past. It is about becoming more fully present.
This is not a punishment. It is a completion. And from completion comes the freedom to begin again.
