The Evolves: A Relationship That Began Through Art

The Evolves: A Relationship That Began Through Art

One of the questions I am asked most often is how the paintings come into being.

People stand in front of a canvas, feeling as though the being is looking back at them, and they ask, “Did you plan this?”

My answer is always the same. No.

I don’t decide who appears. I don’t sketch them first or imagine what they should look like.

They reveal themselves.

Each painting unfolds one brushstroke at a time, and I discover who they are in the same way everyone else does—by allowing them to emerge.

An Intuitive Artist

I have been painting since I was twelve years old. Although I am colorblind by conventional standards, that has never limited what comes through the canvas. In many ways, it has taught me to trust something beyond what my eyes alone can see.

My first mural was four feet by thirty-two feet, wrapping around a swimming pool. I had no formal training and no detailed plan. I simply began to paint.

That has never changed.

I don’t sketch the beings before they appear, and I don’t decide who will come through. Each painting unfolds one brushstroke at a time. Somewhere in the process, a face begins to emerge. Eyes appear. An expression takes shape. Gradually, I realize I am no longer creating the painting—I am discovering it.

Over the years, I have learned to trust the process without needing to explain every part of it.

I don’t paint to create the beings. I paint to meet them. Understand them. Know them.

Every painting is an experience of discovery, for me as much as for the person standing before it.

Who the Evolves Are

The beings who emerge through these paintings are what I have come to know as the Evolves—a collective of multidimensional consciousness I have worked with for more than thirty-five years.

They did not arrive with that name.

In the beginning, I knew them as the Council of 28. Over the years, as our relationship deepened and my own understanding evolved, so did theirs. The name Evolves reflects that journey—not only their continued evolution, but ours as well.

What began as guidance became collaboration. That has been one of the greatest gifts of this relationship.

The Evolves are guides-turned-collaborators. They are not distant or abstract — they are relational.

I have never experienced the Evolves as distant beings offering answers from afar. They meet us where we are. They respond to the questions we bring, the experiences we are living, and the opportunities for growth that are unfolding in each moment.

Every interaction is relational. Every painting, every session, and every transmission is an invitation into a conversation—one that supports greater awareness, deeper understanding, and the integration of who we are becoming.

The Evolves do not ask us to follow them. They invite us to discover more of ourselves.

How They Show Up in Session

In Cosmic Travelers, our monthly gathering, the Evolves become active participants in the work we do together.

We enter what I call the Sacred White Space—a place of neutrality, co-creation, and deep listening. It is within this space that old patterns, timelines, and karmic influences can be explored, understood, and, when they are ready, released.

Over the years, many people have shared that they feel deeply seen within this space. Rather than receiving a message meant for everyone, they experience guidance that speaks directly to where they are in their own journey.

That has always been my experience with the Evolves. They don’t simply deliver information. They engage in a relationship.

They meet each person where they are, responding to what is most important in that moment, always with the intention of supporting greater awareness, integration, and conscious evolution.

For me, that relationship has unfolded for more than thirty-five years. It continues to evolve, just as we do.

Curious which of the Evolves meets you first?

Why the Paintings Matter

The paintings are their own body of work.

They are not illustrations of my sessions or Cosmic Travelers. They emerged through the same relationship I have shared with the Evolves for more than thirty-five years.

Each painting represents a being who has chosen to make themselves known in this way. Over time, people have come to know many of them by name—Master Michael, Hilarion, Mother Earth, Kuan Yin, members of the Council of 28, and others who continue to reveal themselves.

For some people, their first meeting with an Evolve happens through a painting. For others, it happens during a session or within Cosmic Travelers.

There is no right order. What matters is the relationship.

Once that relationship has begun, it often continues to unfold in unexpected ways. A being someone has felt drawn to through a painting may naturally step forward during a private session or a group gathering when their presence is supportive to that person’s journey.

Nothing is forced. Nothing is assigned. The relationship develops naturally, just as any meaningful relationship does.

The paintings are one doorway. The sessions are another. The relationship itself is what matters.

Meeting the Evolves

Over the years, I have come to understand that the Evolves are not simply beings I communicate with. They are companions in the work of conscious evolution.

Each one carries a unique presence, perspective, and way of supporting humanity. Sometimes they step forward through a painting. Sometimes during a session. Sometimes through Cosmic Travelers. However they arrive, the invitation is always the same—to enter into a relationship.

We are members of a cosmic community, learning — sometimes clumsily, sometimes with real grace — to work in harmony with beings unlike ourselves. The paintings are one of the doorways into that recognition. So is the oracle on this site, where you can sit for a moment with each of the Evolves and see which one meets you first. You don’t have to know who they are. You don’t have to understand everything about them.

Simply notice what draws your attention.

If you find yourself returning to the same painting, the same being, or the same feeling, pause for a moment.

There may be a conversation waiting to begin. Relationships unfold over time. This one is no different.

From the Council of 28 to EarthBound

The Council of 28 was one of the first paintings to emerge from this relationship. It was completed in 2016, years before I understood the fuller significance of who these beings were or the role they would come to play in my life.

As my relationship with them continued to deepen, so did my understanding. Over time, the Council became known to me as the Evolves—not because they changed alone, but because our relationship continued to evolve together.

That journey became one of the inspirations for EarthBound: The Genesis of the Great Experiment, the first book in the Multidimensional Memoirs series.

Through story, the book explores humanity’s multidimensional origins, the nature of collective consciousness, and the ways timelines, healing, and remembrance weave together across lifetimes.

Looking back, I can see that the paintings, the sessions, the teachings, and eventually the books were never separate paths. They were all expressions of the same unfolding relationship.

I never set out to paint the Evolves. I never set out to write a five-book series.

I simply said yes to what was asking to emerge, one step at a time.

When Creativity Becomes a Conversation

Over the years, I have spoken with artists, writers, musicians, and creators who describe something very familiar.

A painting seems to emerge on its own. A story begins unfolding in a direction they never planned. Music arrives complete, as though it has been waiting to be heard.

Perhaps you have experienced something similar. If you have, you may recognize that feeling of becoming less concerned with creating and more willing to listen.

For me, that has been my relationship with the Evolves. I don’t believe creativity always begins with us.

Sometimes it begins with our willingness to enter into a conversation with something greater than ourselves.

Whether you call that intuition, inspiration, your higher self, or perhaps you are accessing what is in the Cosmic Quantum Field, or what the Universe can offer you — however it happens, it is less important than the experience itself.

The question is simply this: what has been trying to express itself through you?

EarthBound tells the fuller story of how the Council became the Evolves.
