What Your Body Has Been Trying to Tell You
The body is not your problem. It is your most loyal messenger.
I have spent more than thirty-five years sitting across from people — physicians, mothers, artists, executives, retirees, teenagers brought in by worried parents — and I keep meeting the same moment. Someone arrives holding a symptom like it’s a mystery to be solved from the outside. And within a few minutes of quiet, focused attention, we find that the body already explained itself. The ache in the shoulder was a weight carried for someone else, for years, without ever being asked to carry it. The exhaustion was a life being lived in someone else’s direction. The headache that returned every Sunday night was a conversation the person kept swallowing instead of having out loud.
None of this is metaphor dressed up as medicine. It’s closer to translation. The body doesn’t use words. It uses sensation — weight, heat, tightness, numbness, the strange absence where feeling should be. And it has a vocabulary, if you’re willing to learn it.
The Body Doesn’t Lie
Here is something I tell almost everyone who sits with me for the first time: your body has never once lied to you. It adapts. It compensates. It protects you from things you weren’t ready to feel, sometimes for decades. But it does not lie. When a symptom shows up, it is not a malfunction — it’s a report. Something happened, something is happening, or something is about to be too much, and the body is doing the only thing it knows how to do about that: it’s making itself impossible to ignore.
Your body doesn’t lie. It adapts, compensates, protects — but it never lies.
The trouble is that most of us were never taught to read the early drafts. A whisper of fatigue gets pushed through with coffee and willpower. A flicker of tightness in the chest gets explained away as stress, which, to be fair, it often partly is — but stress is never the whole sentence. When the whisper goes unheard long enough, the body raises its voice. And when the raised voice goes unheard, it starts to shout. We call the shouting “illness,” and then we go looking for something external to blame or fix, without ever asking what the shout was actually saying.
How I Learned to Listen
I didn’t arrive at this work through a textbook, though I’ve studied plenty of them — Applied Kinesiology, massage therapy, nutritional counseling, herbal and homeopathic medicine, energy work that doesn’t have a tidy Western name. I arrived at it through watching my own mother move through chronic illness, and through carrying the memory of a twin I lost before either of us was born. Those two facts shaped my whole life before I understood what they were doing. They made me obsessed, early, with the question of what the body knows that the mind hasn’t caught up to yet.
What I found, over decades of sessions, is that the body keeps a kind of ledger. It remembers the birth that was harder than anyone talks about. It remembers the year you decided your needs were an inconvenience. It remembers ancestral patterns that were never yours to begin with, passed down the way an heirloom gets passed down — without anyone asking if you wanted it. None of that is figurative to me. I access it directly, the way another practitioner might read an X-ray. I call it accessing your Guidance System — the intelligence inside you that has been keeping score the whole time, waiting for someone to finally ask what it knows.
A Symptom Is Never the Whole Sentence
Every Medical Intuitive session begins by listening to what your body is asking for.
We first identify the level of stress affecting each organ and system. From there, we determine what your body needs to restore balance—whether that includes nutrition, supplements, detoxification, or other supportive approaches.
Once the physical foundation is understood, we explore the deeper reason your body has been asking for your attention. Together, we uncover the underlying patterns, experiences, and beliefs that may be contributing to the imbalance, creating an opportunity for healing from the inside out.
One of the greatest misunderstandings in healing is treating a symptom as the end of the inquiry instead of the beginning.
The question is not simply, “How do we make this go away?”
The deeper question is, “Why is your body asking for your attention?”
Together, we look beyond the symptom to discover the root—the emotional thread beneath the physical pattern, the energetic imprint, and the moment something first became locked into place.
Sometimes the answer comes from something happening in your life today. Sometimes it reaches back further, revealing patterns carried from another season of your life—or, for those open to that perspective, another lifetime.
Either way, your body has never forgotten. It has simply been waiting for you to listen.
When we understand the message beneath the symptom, the body often has the opportunity to move toward balance in an entirely new way.
What Physicians Have Started Asking Me
“Over the years, physicians from a variety of medical disciplines have referred patients to me when they believed an intuitive perspective might complement their clinical findings.”
What I have witnessed time and again is that intuitive insight and clinical findings are rarely in conflict. More often, they are looking at the same condition from different perspectives.
Medical testing may reveal where the body is out of balance. An intuitive assessment may offer insight into the deeper patterns, experiences, or emotional influences contributing to what the body is expressing.
The scan shows inflammation; the intuitive read shows what the inflammation is protecting, or protesting, or finally releasing.
When these perspectives come together, they often provide a more complete understanding—helping clients make sense of what their body has been communicating and supporting them on their path toward healing.

How to Begin Listening to Your Body
You don’t need a session with me to begin. You simply need a few quiet moments and a willingness to listen.
Find a comfortable place to sit. Close your eyes. Bring your awareness to the part of your body that has been asking for your attention. Place your hand there, breathe gently, and simply acknowledge it.
You don’t need to fix it. You don’t need to understand it. Just be present with it.
Ask your body, “What are you trying to show me?” Then listen.
You may not receive words. You may notice a feeling, an image, a memory, an emotion, or simply a sense of peace. However, your body’s response is perfectly okay.
This is how healing often begins—not by forcing change, but by creating a relationship with the wisdom already within you.
This is the same doorway we walk through during a Medical Intuitive session. It is also the foundation of the work we explore together in Cosmic Travelers, where we learn to trust the intelligence of the body, the heart, and our own inner knowing.
Your body has always been communicating with you.
The question is not whether it is speaking.
The question is… are you ready to listen?
Every Body Has a Story
No two people are exactly alike, and neither are their symptoms.
Over the years, I have observed that the body often expresses itself through recognizable patterns. Yet I never assume that one symptom has the same meaning for everyone.
The body tells each person’s story differently.
A headache, digestive issue, fatigue, joint pain, or chronic inflammation may appear similar on the surface, but the cause behind it can be unique. That is why I don’t interpret symptoms from a list or a textbook. I listen to what your body is communicating.
The goal is not to assign meaning to a symptom.
The goal is to understand the story your body is asking you to hear.
When we approach the body with curiosity instead of assumption, it often reveals insights that could never be discovered by looking at the symptom alone.
Your body doesn’t just tell you what’s wrong. She teaches you how to listen to yourself.
What if I choose not to explore other dimensions or the deeper patterns surrounding my symptoms or illness?
That choice is always yours.
Some people come seeking support for the physical aspects of their health, while others are interested in exploring the emotional, energetic, or multidimensional patterns that may also be contributing to their experience.
There is no expectation that you go further than you feel comfortable.
Your choices, your beliefs, and your readiness are always respected. We simply begin where you are and work together in a way that feels supportive for you.
This Isn’t a Substitute for Medical Care
My work is designed to complement, not replace, conventional medical care.
If your body is asking for attention, seek the appropriate medical advice, testing, and treatment. Each plays an important role in understanding your health.
What I offer is another perspective—one that explores the emotional, energetic, and, when appropriate, spiritual influences that may also be contributing to what your body is expressing.
When these perspectives come together, they often create a more complete understanding of the healing process.
The body is extraordinary. It benefits from being understood through more than one lens.
